Sara Richards- Realtor

Sara is a lifelong New Orleanian who’s combined background in land acquisitions, international imports, sales management and marketing have pointed her toward a career in real estate. Sara’s talent for intensely understanding her client’s needs and her skills as an effective negotiator enable her clients to reach their objectives whether it be their first home purchase or the assembly of a dynamic real estate investment portfolio.
Sara holds certifications from the Louisiana Real Estate Commission as both a Buyer Specialist and as a Marketing Specialist and is currently working on her Historic House Specialist Certification from the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. In addition, to better assist her clients, she is also studying the Americans With Disability Act to continue her understanding of ADA regulations.
While attending the University of New Orleans, Sara worked full time at a law office which was responsible for land acquisition for the New Orleans Aviation Board. During this time she gained knowledge of the many facets of the real estate business. After college, Sara began a career in sales at the Wm. B. Coleman, Co. in New Orleans. During her 15+ year tenure, she orchestrated record setting profits for their retail operations, successfully adding new stores and developing best in class Customer Service. She also lead the development of a wholesale lighting import division which supplied lighting to notable clients including New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Russian Tea Room as well as Casablanca Fan Company.
Sara lives in New Orleans with her husband Kevin and their triplets and furry family member, Rio.
