Cheryl Tsakis has been a resident of the Augusta County – Staunton and Waynesboro area for over twenty years; holds a Bachelor’s degree from Dowling College and enjoys riding horses, golf, skiing, antiquing and travel in her free time. She has served in many volunteer positions as the former President of Waynesboro’s Junior Women’s Club; raised initial construction funds for Hospice House of the Shenandoah; served on a Capital Campaign Committee to raise funds for Tabernacle Presbyterian Church’s 20,000 sq. ft. church addition. Cheryl also served as former Executive Director to S.A.W.-Habitat for Humanity during the initial construction phase of Staunton, Virginia’s downtown “Johnson Street Project” which was her life’s most important work besides raising her son’s Cole and Ford.
