Our Journey to Blue Therapy™
Our journey to the Eastern Shore began as a family tradition.
We’d escape to its calm waters to boat, fish, and crab, savoring
the simplicity of life away from the city. As our children grew and
ventured off to college, their visits dwindled, and the allure of the
Eastern Shore grew stronger.
One Labor Day weekend, with our nest newly empty, my husband
and I drove down to the shore. As we cruised to a waterside
restaurant, we stopped to take a swim. I dove into the crystal-
clear waters, looked down, saw my feet, and thought, “This is
where we’re meant to be.”
We had spent 25 years in our previous home, a labor of love built
by my husband, but it was time for a new chapter. Our search for
a place on the Eastern Shore had its frustrations – losing out on
lots and challenging negotiations – but it was a journey of
persistence and passion. I remember telling my husband, half-
jokingly yet earnestly, "Trust me, I’m a realtor. Let me handle
this.", lol. And when the perfect lot finally came into view, its
breathtaking beauty sealed our decision.
Now, each morning, I wake up to my Blue Therapy – with a view
