Maurice comes from a diverse family, a group of individuals who value community service. By helping each other and those around them—even with the smallest of efforts can facilitate enormous change. One small act of grace—one moment of mentorship—is like a stone tossed into a pond: the changes it creates ripple outward, filling the pond.
Maurice employs the same approach in his business life. Whether in a workplace setting where he mentors an individuals, or in a classroom setting where he is speaking to a group—or even onstage, when he speaks to a large crowd—he emphasize the value of every small moment of instruction, no matter how subtle or unexpected.
A forward--thinking philosophy infuses his approach. He works with students to help them crystallize a vision for their work. Are they laying the groundwork for a career that will serve them decades into the future? Are they working toward a goal that serves a higher, spiritually based purpose? In teaching, his goal is to help students align their personal passions with their work to ensure they remain curious, passionate and challenged.
Hampton currently is managing broker owner of Centered International Realty Court located in Chicago with offices in Indiana and Florida. Hampton also serves the business community and real estate industry in a variety of positions. He is the past-president of the Chicago Association of Realtors with over 17,000 members, board member for ILLINOIS realtors, the national Association of realtors, REBAC (Real Estate Buyers Agency Council) and many others. He has traveled the world engaging learning, speaking on diversity, business, and real estate topics. Hampton is the current Vice Chair of the NAR CIPS Advisory Board.
